Updates will be found here!
Due to the uncertainty with current world conditions, we will use this page to keep you, our customers, informed of our status. Below you will find our current hours, policies, and needed adjustments to our routine. In the event that we must make an adjustment that will affect you, the latest information will be found here.
!!PAWN ADJUSTMENT!!
6+ Month Notice
Moore’s will DISCONTINUE NEW PAWNS & RENEWALS after December 31, 2023.
Due to changes in the industry, age, and other factors we have decided to no longer offer pawn services after 2023.
What does this mean for you?
Until December 31 all new and old pawns will be handled as normal!
Starting January 1, 2024 all customers with active pawn will continue to have access to their pawn for the 90 days, plus our standard two week extension (April 14, 2024). However, all pawn will need to be taken out within this time frame since no renewals will be accepted. Our doors will remain open beyond the April 14th date, but as a retail location only. In the event that a pawn goes beyond the 90 contract date (plus two week extension) it will still be available at our discretion, but will be considered dead pawn. The option to put it back on a pawn will no longer be available! However other arrangements can be made at that time.
We take this opportunity to thank you very much for your decades of patronage with your pawning needs.

Temporary Adjustment to Policy -
Due to the fact that we will not be open for our normal business hours and many of our customers are restricted by government regulations, we will temporary extend all pawns that have a maturity from April 11 - 30, 2020. This extension will grant an additional 14 days to customers that have a ticket that matures during that time. This extension is 14 days from the maturity date. The ticket and payment must be received on or before the expiration date of the extension. Interest will continue to accrue on a daily basis during the extension, but there will be no penalty if cared for within the 14 days.
This will allow customers time to adjust their schedule and care for the ticket in person, or we suggest mailing the ticket along with a money order or cashiers check to Moore's. Another alternative is to place the ticket and money order in an envelope and slip them through the door at the store. A slot will be designated.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if my pawn is due on a day when Moore's is closed?
What happens if my pawn goes past the Maturity Date on the ticket?
How much will my pawn cost to pick up?
- If the maturity date falls on a day when we are closed, we automatically extend the pawn to our next open day. (Ex. Pawn is due on Sunday, we will extend the pawn till that next Tuesday when we open, since we are closed both Sunday and Monday).
What happens if my pawn goes past the Maturity Date on the ticket?
- As outlined on the ticket the contract is good up to the printed Maturity Date. Once that date is exceeded, unless we are closed as described above, then the pawn becomes the property of the store. However, we know that things happen - people forget, don't have the money on that day, are out of town, etc. Because of this it is Moore's policy to hold onto an item for a minimum of 30 days past the printed Maturity Date. This is not a "grace" period. The pawn still becomes the property of the store, but we hold onto the items to give the customer an opportunity to purchase the items back at a discounted rate. It should be noted that this cost is higher than the contract price would have been if the customer had cared for the contract on, or before, the Maturity Date expired. As a courtesy, we want to make sure that the customer has plenty of opportunity to get the item back if they desire to do so.
How much will my pawn cost to pick up?
- The cost to redeem a pawn is outlined on the ticket. This can be found on the right sided of the ticket and is labeled - "Total of Payments". This is the amount the items will cost to redeem if paid on the Maturity Date printed. If a customer pays earlier than this date the redemption price is reduced and will be determined at the time of payment.
